Morning Prayer

Carrying on the tradition of the monks and nuns who worshipped in the Priory through the centuries, we have a morning service together every week day. It usually lasts about half an hour.

Morning Prayer is said using the liturgy from Common Worship and starts at 8.30am at either Leominster Priory, Dilwyn Church or Hamnish Church.

Daily prayer is said using liturgy from Common Prayer for Ordinary Radicals and starts at 9.30am on Tuesday and Thursdays in St Paul's Chapel, behind the choir stalls in Leominster Priory. This follows a simple pattern of readings and prayers together with a focus on preparing us for action in the world.

Service Times, Monday to Friday

Monday 8.30am Morning Prayer The Priory
Tuesday 8.30am Morning Prayer Dilwyn
  9.30am Daily Prayer The Priory
  9.30am Eucharist Hennor
Wednesday 8.30am Morning Prayer The Priory

Thursday 8.30am Morning Prayer The Priory

All midweek services follow the order in a book that you will be given when you arrive so there's no need to be familiar with the liturgies beforehand. You can also install the Daily Prayer app on your phone for Morning Prayer at 8.30am or the Common Prayer app for Daily Prayer at 9.30am.
