Car Parks & Public Toilets

The largest car park is off Broad Street by the Fire Station.  Pay and display.

Public Toilets by the main entrance.

You will see the Priory standing out above you to the right.

If you walk to the far end of the car park and turn right into a lane, there is a short cut that will bring you up a fairly steep slope to the Priory.

Otherwise walk into the town centre from the car park, and beyond "The Grape Vaults" public house, turn left into Church Street.

The Priory is at the far end. This route is more level, but further.

Coming from the town centre, halfway down Etnam Street on the left beyond
"The Chequers" public house is the entrance to the car park. Pay and Display.

Across at the back of the car park on the far side, you can enter a walkway, opposite public toilets, that goes on the left to the town centre, and on the right to The Grange parkland. Cross, or walk round the grassed area, and the Priory Church is in front of you, through the gates beyond the War Memorial.

It's a five minute walk on mainly level ground.

Note: During church services toilets are open in the Priory, in the "Norman Nave" on the far side of the building.
