What's on in the local parishes

Here are some of the events happening around Leominster

Wholeness and Healing
In the name of God and trusting in His might alone,
receive Christ's healing touch to make you whole,
Christ bring you wholeness of body, mind and spirit,
deliver you from evil, and give you his peace.
                                                               Common Worship

Creator of the starry universe
be for us stillness at the centre of the storm.
Savior, light and life of all the world
be for us stasis in the depth of pain.
Comforter, advocate and guide
be for us silence at the heart of renewal.
Creator, Saviour, Comforter, hold us in your healing.

The Kingfisher Group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 2.00pm at Green Lane Methodist Church.

5th December, Healing Service with silence.

The Julian Meetings are groups of people who meet regularly to grow in the fellowhsip and practice of contemplative prayer and meditation in the Christian tradition.

Based on the life and spirituality of Julian of Norwich (c.1342 - c. 1416), it will seek to foster silence and attention as a spiritual resource in our often too busy and noisy world. (http://www.the julianmeetings.net/)

(If you are interested in attending, or for further information, please contact the
Revd Kirsty Clarke on 01568 612207)

Bockleton, St Michael
We're ready for another 2 nights of carol singing, wending our merry way around Bockleton in whatever transport we are kindly offered.  Why don't you come and join us, as the more the merrier, and you can look forward to a mince pie and a glass of wine from your friendly neighbours?  Just bring warm scarves, warm gloves and a loud voice (and don't forget a torch).

2 dates again this year: Monday, 17th December and Tuesday, 18th December.
BirchleyBank, Grafton, 'Bockleton Square', Church, Romers Common.

This is a real tradition for ALL the family so encourage children to come and enjoy it with you.  All newcomers will be made very welcome.  Meet at the Parish Hall at 6.30pm.  Tel: Peter on 01568 750615 for more information.

Docklow, St Bartholomew
We are having a stall once again at Leominster Victorian Market on Saturday, 8th December. Please consider coming along to support us.  Much work goes into preparing for this, and it is a good way of finding local items to help your Christmas shopping along.
