Sunday 1st October 2017 8:00amThe Eucharist, Traditional Language, SaidA said service of Holy Communion (the Eucharist) following the old 1662 Prayer Book. This is a reflective service with a small congregation, and takes place in the circular area of seating at the East end of the Priory, St Paul's Chapel.
10:00amThe Parish EucharistThe Eucharist, with Hymns, Bible Readings and Sermon. The Priory Choir lead the singing. Freshly brewed Tea and Coffee are served in the Norman Nave after the service. Communicant members of any part of the Christian Family are welcome to receive the bread and wine of the Eucharist with us.
10:05amPriory Children's Sunday ClubChildren join together for their own activity during the first hymn and rejoin the congregation at The Communion.
6:30pmChoral EvensongA traditional Language sung evening service led by the choir with hymns and an address.

12:30pmRendez Vous Members of the congregation and visitors join together for an informal lunch generally served in The Norman Nave of the Priory. If you'd like to come, bring something savoury or sweet, or maybe something to drink. If you can't bring anything, just come anyway - there's generally plenty!

7:30pmANNUAL EDFRITH FEAST DAY LECTURE(In the Priory Church) On the actual day of Edfith's feast, we celebrate our founding saint with a lecture by Dr Nick Baker. Nick is former Librarian of Hereford Cathedral and Eton College, currently Archivst to the Princethorpe Foundation, Rugby. He will talk about "Scripture as Picture", how art was used to communicate the Christian story in the seventh and eighth centuries. He will show the way in which some of the beautiful artwork of the time was used to encourage an emotional and faithful response to God.

10:00amLeominster Civic Service (Parish Eucharist)The Mayor and Councillors join the Priory Congregation for the Sunday morning service on the day we celebrate Edfrith, whose mission founded what is now our town in about 660 AD. Sung Euchariast (Holy Communion) with choir, sermon etc., followed by refreshments. All are very welcome.

4:30pmFESTIVAL EVENING SERVICE FOR ST EDFRITHEdfrith, Leominster's founding saint, brought the Christian Faith to this area in about 660 AD. Today we join in worship as we walk around the ancient Priory precincts where generations of Christians have worshipped from those early days. The service starts and finishes in The Priory Church. Stout shoes are recommended and Incense will be used.
